join us in preserving Jewish heritage as we reflect on the past to shape the future together
As we reflect on the past 12 months, we are proud of our achievements and excited about what’s next on the horizon. With the Jewish holidays upon us, this sacred season invites reflection, connection, and a renewed commitment to our shared values of tzedakah (charitable giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world). It’s a time to embrace our responsibility to care for one another and the world, and we invite you to join us on this journey. Imagine a map guiding travellers, history enthusiasts, and those interested in Belarus’s Jewish heritage, helping Jewish communities in Belarus grow and thrive. Earlier this month, our dedicated team embarked on a historical journey from Minsk to Brest as part of the European Days of Jewish Culture, exploring the Jewish past with a poignant connection to the theme of “Family.” We also celebrated a pivotal collaboration with academics and historians at Oxford University, drawing fascinating links between Jewish Country Houses in the UK and Belarus’s Jewish history. Alongside these events, we hosted an evening of sublime music and side-splitting comedy, leaving everyone eager for the next one. And in the world of family history, award-winning genealogist Miriam Weiner continues to illuminate the lives of countless individuals, helping them uncover the stories hidden in their family trees. So dive into this month’s bumper special edition holiday newsletter and discover what we have been up to and what we plan to do next!
Wishing all of you who celebrate a very happy, healthy and peaceful new year
All the best,
The Together Plan Team
