Our youth for youth ambassadors have been hard at work this week planning next year’s summer camp in Belarus.
They have also been hard at work putting together the end of the year, post-Limmud, Kabbalat service which they will be leading at Finchley Reform Synagogue on December 27th. Our Development Coordinator Vlad Zaiko, from Minsk Belarus, is in the UK this week and is immersed in the planning with his peers from the UK. There is an exciting buzz among the group as they build the summer programme on the theme of ‘Storytelling’. The camp will be a journey around history, heritage and identity as the Belarus participants dig into the past to explore their Jewish stories.
Vlad Zaiko will be at Limmud between the 22nd and 26th December and will be presenting at on the 23rd December with The Together Plan’s CEO Debra Brunner, and at 5.20pm on the 24th December.
Come and join the service on the 27/12 at 6.30pm at Finchley Reform Synagogue, 101 Fallowcourt Avenue, N12 0BE. Join us for Chanukah lighting, and a chavurah supper after the service. Bring a dish to share (main course and/or dessert – vegetarian and no nuts).
