The embrace walls on a very wet day
walking the walk and making history together
As we step into spring, this month’s newsletter brings powerful stories of remembrance, resilience, and revival. We share exciting updates on the Brest-Litovsk Jewish cemetery memorial construction and a final fundraising push through a global walkathon. We reflect on a remarkable event in partnership with the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum, shedding light on the hidden Holocaust history in the Soviet Union. Across Belarus, Jewish communities came together to celebrate Purim, demonstrating the strength of post-Soviet Jewish life. Meanwhile, the BNI London business community is rallying to support our mission, and we bring you a deeply personal family story from Pinsk that recalls Stalinist repression, the Holocaust, and Soviet antisemitism . Read on to learn how history, heritage, and community continue to shape our work.
All the best

walking the walk, in Brest, London and beyond!
The end is in sight. After years of dedicated effort, 1,249 salvaged gravestones from the historic Brest-Litovsk Jewish cemetery will soon be returned to their rightful place, forming the centrepiece of a breathtaking new memorial. With a final fundraising push – we will complete by the summer. Will you join us and walk the walk?
