Making History Together: Exhibition Showing
We are delighted to invite you to the Making History Together interactive travelling exhibition on Sunday January 8th 2023 at Finchley Reform Synagogue between 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
This is an opportunity to explore the story of the Jews of Belarus, what happened in the Holocaust years between 1941 and 1944 and during the years that followed.
The exhibition came out of the Making History Together Programme which has been designed for teenagers not just as an introduction to the Holocaust but also as a programme of self-development which is giving them a HEAD START on everything they need to know on how to combat divisive behaviour, antisemitism, develop positive leadership and more. The exhibition is suitable for all ages 12 and over.
The Making History Together Programme has also inspired a parallel Holocaust programme in Belarus where currently there is no official Holocaust education. We are working on a second travelling exhibition that will be sent to Belarus in 2023.
We hope you will be able to drop in on Sunday 8th January and be sure to have your phones with you so that you can scan the QR codes to get to the bonus extras and to access the films. This is immensely important yet little known Holocaust history!
There will also be a session from 5-6pm for parents and children (years 8 and 9) about the Making History Programme 2023.
There will be refreshments available and please feel free to bring friends and family.
