Connecting Jews from Around the World: The Global Jewish Pen Pal Program

The Global Jewish Pen Pal Program is a non-profit organization which has matched hundreds of people of all ages with Jewish pen pals around the world. The organization also provides opportunities for participants to learn about Jewish life and culture in different countries. This session will introduce you to the Global Jewish Pen Pal Program, demonstrate why such a program matters and explore how it has impacted people’s lives of all ages.

    Madison is from Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and is the founder of the Global Jewish Pen Pal Program, a non-profit organization which matches individuals with Jewish pen pals around the world. She is a graduate student at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, where she is pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Nonfiction Writing. Madison also works as the Programs and Seminars Communications Associate for Classrooms Without Borders.

    Madison is proud to partner her organisation with The Together Plan’s Youth for Youth (of which she is a member) to help continue to create a network of global, Jewish youth creating change for the better.
