Jacqueline Perkins arrived in Minsk in August 2019 to take up her appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus. Prior to this she was Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy in Kuwait.

Jacqueline joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1989. She has had overseas postings to Abu Dhabi, Cairo and Bahrain, as well as spending a year in Egypt on Arabic language training. At the FCO in London she has worked on Germany, the EU and the Middle East.
