Join our friendly, collaborative team at our beautiful Croxley Park location in Watford, where you will help sort, organise, and pack donated items of humanitarian aid to be sent to vulnerable communities in Eastern Europe. Your work will ensure that essential goods are prepared efficiently, accurately, and with care, making a real difference to the lives of people in need, all in a welcoming and picturesque setting.
your responsibilities
- Sort donated goods (such as clothing, toys and baby items, household items) by category and condition
- Pack items safely and efficiently into boxes or containers
- Help maintain a tidy and organised packing area
- Work closely with fellow volunteers in a supportive, team-focused environment
- Follow team leader instructions and support the smooth running of the packing sessions

required skills/experience
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and care when handling donations
- Physically able to carry out light to moderate lifting, standing, and moving around during shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks reliably
- No specific experience required — just enthusiasm and a desire to help

time commitment
Flexible! We welcome volunteers who can help regularly or just occasionally, even a few hours makes a big difference. Packing sessions are every Monday and/or Tuesday mornings.
