Bringing Belarus to the Mitzvah Day office in north London.
For the last four years we have been very excited to have been able to bring Mitzvah Day to Belarus. Our Development Coordinator, Vlad Zaiko, has often participated in the Mitzvah Day events in Belarus. Therefore while he was in the UK in December, we decided to drop in so he could meet the Mitzvah Day team and they could meet Vlad. It was a great opportunity to build a closer and more meaningful relationship for everyone involved. It was important and of great value for Vlad to meet the people who make Mitzvah Day possible, and for the Mitzvah Day team to learn about and begin to understand the challenges of Jewish life in a post-Soviet country.
