This June, in honour of Arkadiy Dobkin’s upcoming birthday, we invite you to join him in a cause close to his heart.
Instead of gifts, Arkadiy has asked that friends, family, and supporters make a donation to the Jewish Heritage Centre in Minsk—a vibrant new space for culture, memory, and community.
Opened on 29th October 2023 with the support of The Together Plan (UK non-profit) and its U.S. 501(c)(3) partner, the Jewish Tapestry Project, the Centre is named in honour of Polina Dobkina, in remembrance of all those who were imprisoned in the Minsk Ghetto.
Located in the historic Daumana Street Synagogue, the Centre has quickly become a vital hub for Jewish cultural life in Minsk. It hosts a rich programme of events including a highly popular weekly film club—featuring expert speakers and professionals from the film industry—art exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and Jewish festival celebrations.
With your support, the Centre can continue to grow. Donations will help expand its programming, attract new audiences, and fund exciting future projects such as research initiatives and heritage tours exploring the deep Jewish roots of Minsk and beyond.
