Our fabulous food technician has combined Eastern Europe with the Middle East to create, quite literally, an eclectic Jewish ‘mash-up’!
This is a quick and easy way to make a delicious hummus and only needs 5 ingredients and 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 tin of chickpeas
- Cooked beetroot
- Ground cumin
- Fresh lemon juice
- Tahini
Method
Drain the chickpeas and blitz in a mini food processor with a few tablespoons of the aquafaba (the drained liquid from the chickpeas).
Add 4 beetroot bulbs, 2 tbsps tahini, 1 tbsp lemon juice and blitz again.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
The beetroot hummus will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
